Ten years ago, we purchased our home in Spain.

Feeling proud and happy, but with a weird gut feeling as well, after we left the house to return to the Netherlands.

We felt restless to leave our new home for a few months. What if something were to happen and how would we fix it or even know about it?
​We didn't feel at ease and this led to a search for suitable solutions and people to help out; which lasted a considerable amount of time.

A friendly plumber was willing to stop by occasionally, but he didn't dare take on the responsibility of being a key holder.
​We invested lots of time and energy in finding reliable local contacts.
Fortunately we do speak Spanish, but it still took us a while to build a trustworthy network of professionals.

From the moment we settled in Spain after all, we knew one thing for sure. We are fully aware how important is to have peace of mind about your home away from home. Therefore we offer this service to other homeowners.
Ruiter Property Support is a logical consequence of our own journey.

Paul Ruiter
In the Netherlands, I have worked in financial services for years. After running several insurance agencies, I specialized in coaching entrepreneurs.

During the ten years we owned a house in Spain, I discovered my passion for home improvement.
​
What started with small jobs grew into the complete renovation of our casita, including a brand new bathroom and kitchen.
​
Setting up a property management business is a logical step for me. This way I can combine both my organizational skills and love for manual work.

After running our meeting and party venue in the Netherlands with great enthusiasm for over 10 years, we decided to settle in Spain. We thoroughly enjoy our time in this great country.

We have a holiday home that we rent out, and together with Paul I work in our property support business.
​
Taking care of people and helping them out with all kinds of different issues as well as organizing efficiently is in both of our DNA's, and we do so with great passion and joy.
